"Renew Greenway"
This is a site specific sculpture project as part of the greenway arts inititive, the piece is a dead hawthorn tree on the Greenway painted in a style I have developed over the years and in response to the location. The piece is located a mile or 1.5 kilometers from Mulraney on the Achill side of the Greenway.

I was in The National Museum of Country Life at Turlough House for three days at the end of June as part of the "On Sight" arts project in association with the Mayo Art squad and the Museum education dept. I was there preparing painting and installing the sticks on the grounds and the public were welcome to participate, I had a series of engaging and
facinating conversations with people from all over Ireland and around the world and their mark is lest in the finished work. The piece will be on display till the end of August.
